How to Program This Sequencer
- Channel Layout: Each horizontal row represents a drum sound. Click the track name button to preview sounds and **drag audio files** onto track names to load custom samples.
- Solo & Mute: Use **S** (Solo) and **M** (Mute) buttons for each track. Solo isolates tracks, mute silences them. Visual feedback shows active states with color changes.
- Pattern Programming: Click any step button to activate/deactivate that drum hit. Active steps show a filled circle (●) and play during sequence playback.
- Real-Time Editing: **Edit patterns while playing** - changes take effect immediately. The white highlighted step shows current playback position. **Muted/solo'd tracks update live!**
- Auto-Loading Samples: **Custom samples auto-load** when you switch between patterns! The 🔉 icon shows which channels have custom sounds. Samples are stored efficiently and persist across sessions.
- Hot-Swap Samples: **Drag & drop new samples during playback** for instant audio switching. Changes take effect immediately without stopping the sequencer!
- AI Integration: Use the **AI Generator** to create professional patterns based on genre descriptions. Your custom samples are preserved when generating new patterns!
